The updated 2015 Toyota Avensis will be the first production Toyota to feature a BMW diesel engine straight from the factory. The new partnership between BMW and Toyota also has a few sports cars in production including the new Toyota Supra.

For the Avensis BMW’s newly developed engine is 20kg lighter than the old unit and will get the family car from 0-62mph in 11.4 seconds with a top speed of 112mph.
